Religious Education:
Children and Faith Formation:
Families with children in grades K-6 are invited to join our parish Family Faith Formation program. The program includes preparation for First Holy Communion and First Reconciliation.
Please register to participate by contacting .
Children’s Liturgy of the Word:
On the second Saturday of each month, children are invited to participate in the Children's Liturgy of the Word during the 4:00 p.m. Mass.
After the opening prayer, children are dismissed with their adult leaders to the Annex to hear and reflect on the readings in age-appropriate formats. As time permits, children engage in activities reinforcing the message of the readings such as singing songs, coloring, or acting out a skit. Children will return to their families during the offertory procession. The next gathering is on September 13th.
Confirmation Preparation & Adult Study:
Students in eighth grade and above who have not celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation and adults desiring to celebrate Baptism, or Confirmation / First Holy Communion, and everyone desiring to know more about our faith are invited to attend classes on Saturdays (with one exception: the second Saturday of the month) from 5:00–6:15 p.m. in the St. Francis Solanus Annex. The first class is on September 20th.
Studies and Events:
Our parish is always seeking volunteers to help expand our educational opportunities for parishioners of all ages. If this is a ministry that interests you, please contact the parish office.
